Learn More
Challenge Manager is a tool that allows your company to effectively manage
participation in Kansas City Corporate Challenge (KCCC) while saving time and
money! That is a simple message, but one that we deliver on. Here are a few of
the features that you will want to know about...
Easy To Use and Get Started
Challenge Manager is included in all 2008 Kansas City Corporate Challenge company entry fees.
When your company coordinators for 2008 update their waivers, contact the KCCC office and they will then be
set up as company coordinators in the system. Company Coordinator status can only be obtained by the KCCC,
and will allow greater access to the system to generate reports, company roster, participation lists, etc.
There can be more than one company coordinator assigned to a company.
Participants Create and Maintain Their Own Profiles
Each Participant will use the web to create a Profile and sign up for events.
We collect Email Address, a Profile Password, Gender, Birth Year (optional),
Shirt Size, and up to two contact Phone Numbers. This information will be used
to allow effective communication between the Company Coordinators and
Participants. Once a Participant has created their Profile, they can go back
and update their information at any time. An important benefit is that your
Participants will not have to recreate their Profiles each year. Each year they
can sign in, verify their current Profile, and sign up for the events for that
year.
Electronic Waiver Collection
Before a Participant can sign up for events, they must accept the Electronic
Waiver by clicking an "I Accept" button. In the past, this required a signed
waiver from each Participant, which was tedious to collect and keep track of.
Now that it is required as part of the normal flow of the application, this
process will be a breeze. Each Participant will electronically sign the waiver
and the Company Coordinator will be able to create a report of when the
Participants signed the waiver.
Targeted Event Signup
We use the information provided in the Participant Profile to display a
customized view of available events. For example, if the Participant is female,
only events that are Coed or Female will be displayed. We mentioned before that
Birth Year is optional. If Birth Year is not specified by a Participant, they
will not be able to sign up for events that have age groupings. If the
Participant decides that they would like to sign up for an event that has age
groupings, they can modify their Profile and specify when they were born. This
will allow them to age grouped events in the Event Signup page.
Simple Reporting
Kansas City Corporate Challenge requires a Company Roster and Participation List.
These documents can be generated on Challenge Manager and the KCCC office will download them
directly off of the site.
